Discover Scuba Diving

Did you know that the ocean covers around the 70% of the surface of the planet? That’s just UNBELIEVABLE!!! And if you are visiting this website then you should know that Puerto Vallarta is one of the greatest destinations for scuba diving in the Pacific Ocean… I mean, you will still have many diving destinations to visit, and well, the ocean is too vast and there will be always something else to discover in it, but really! the diversity of Vallarta will take you to a unique experience, especially if you are a beginner looking for unforgettable natural experiences! You will see mantas, humpback whales, dolphins, turtles, nudibranchs and many other species, depending on the season, that will keep you in a continued state of being amazed!

Chill out! You don’t need experience for this course, Discover Scuba Diving (DSD) by PADI is designed for you and it gives you the opportunity to discover some of the treasures of the underwater world in a safe environment. Let our PADI instructor take care of you! The course includes a complete practice in confined waters where you will learn the basic skills to scuba dive, after that session you are ready to strap on your diving gear and submerge into the blue ocean… do you like bubbles? Well, now you will love to make them!

Vallarta Natural Experience will always look after you, our dives sites may vary depending on ocean conditions, if you have a request about a site you read on our website or somewhere else, please contact our customer service team for more information.

NOTE: We usually do our pool training the day prior to the ocean dives, it takes around one hour depending on the student. If you are short of time, special arrangements can be done, please contact us!

Duration: 5 hours approximately.

IMPORTANT: Make sure you are in good medical conditions for diving, you will be required to fill out a PADI medical questionnaire and if any issue you will need a doctor’s note clearing you to participate in this activity. Safety is always first!

OTHER RESTRICTIONS: Drugs or alcohol consumption before the dives is not allowed for safety reasons. Make sure to plan your diving trip considering that you can not fly at least 24 hours after your ocean dives.
